眾所周知，Sony Pictures擁有《蜘蛛俠》影片版權，但仍有不少影迷認為Sony 應將版權“歸還”Marvel，這樣《蜘蛛俠》就能出現在Marvel其它超級英雄影片中。考慮到在2006年漫畫《Captain America: Civil War》中，《蜘蛛俠》扮演了重要角色，影迷希望《蜘蛛俠》能在2016年上映的電影中出現。

而早前就傳出Sony Pictures正與Marvel討論把《蜘蛛俠》帶回Marvel英雄世界電影，現在有報導指回歸作可能是《Captain America: Civil War》，但角色未必再由男星安德魯加菲扮演。

消息來源？ 就是上月24日，Sony電腦網絡遭黑客攻擊，導致一系列內含敏感信息的隱私郵件外洩。
